Mo Buckley Brown is a writer and visual artist based in Seattle, Washington. She holds a BA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University. Her work appears or is forthcoming in Wasteland Review, Jeopardy Magazine, The Engine(Idling, and Apricity Press. She likes making lists.
In all of her work – art, writing, and that which falls in between – she seeks to learn something. For this reason, she uses a multitude of techniques and materials – experimenting with new mediums often – to help her artistic process feel transformative and generative. Her writing functions similarly, skirting the line between poetry and prose with restless curiosity.
Mo also serves as editor-in-chief and designer of Jelly Squid, an online literary magazine that publishes new writing and art three times a year from contributors in the PNW and beyond.
