This is a small painting I did on paper and mounted on cardboard. With this painting and much of the work I was doing at the time, I was exploring more stylized renderings of humanistic characters. I was drawing this character a lot during that period of time and placing them in different situations and environments, through which I learned how simple characters and symbols can be used to communicate a multitude of feelings and ideas.
